Crime Stoppers
is joining forces with the San Diego Sheriff’s Department’s Homicide
unit to help locate and apprehend Julio Cesar Jacobo-Curiel. Sheriff’s
investigators have information that links Julio Cesar Jacobo-Curiel to
the murder of Mimi Rohwer.
On January 23, 2008, 75-year-old Mimi Rohwer was found
strangled to death in her San Marcos home. Julio Cesar Jacobo-Curiel was
Mimi’s roommate at the time of her murder and was last seen leaving the
residence in her red 1996 Toyota Camry (California license plate
3TRH82). The vehicle has since been recovered in The City of Escondido.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with
information that leads to Julio Cesar Jacobo-Curiel’s arrest. The family
of Mimi Rohwer is offering an additional $9,000 reward to anyone with
information that leads to the arrest of this suspect.
