The San Diego County Sheriff's Department's Poway Station provides law enforcement services to the citizens of the City of Poway which is located in the north inland area of San Diego County. The city's size is over 40 square miles with a population of just over 50,000. In addition to the City of Poway, the Poway Sheriff's Station serves the unincorporated areas just outside the city limits.
