Suspect Sought - Assault on Deputy Sheriff
Del Mar Racetrack Del Mar, CA
On August 28, 2010, at approximately 5:00 p.m., San Diego County Sheriff’s Deputy Matt
Clay was severely injured while making an arrest at the Del Mar Racetrack. Deputy Clay was
holding back a disorderly crowd while his partner, Sergeant Marco Ramirez was with an arrestee.
While the deputies walked the arrested individual to the security office, a group of approximately
ten people followed. One of the individuals in the crowd reached over and punched Deputy Clay in the
face. The force of the punch knocked Deputy Clay to the ground and after receiving emergency medical
treatment at the scene, was transported to Scripps Memorial Hospital. The assault caused a significant
injury to Deputy Clay’s face, which will require surgery. Deputy Clay is a fifteen year veteran
of the Sheriff’s Department.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male adult, in his mid twenties, approximately 5’10",
185 pounds, with short brown hair, and a scraggly beard. His clothing was described as a dark
blue t-shirt, light colored shorts, and black low top tennis shoes. The suspect escaped into the
anonymity of the crowd.

The California State Lottery, Law Enforcement Division is attempting to identify the suspect(s) of a
commercial burglary. On August 6, 2010 at approximately 0145 hours $1,400 in Lottery scratcher
tickets were stolen from the Keg & Bottle liquor store in San Diego, California. The suspect(s) used a
crowbar on the front door, then attempted to pry the ATM open unsuccessfully. The suspect(s) then
noticed a free standing cabinet where cash and Lottery tickets were kept and used the crowbar to
break into the cabinet.
Although there was not a clear view of the suspect(s) committing the burglary, there are clear views
of a woman cashing stolen tickets worth $188 at several different locations in the San Diego
surrounding area as seen to the left.

mid-20’s, 5’6", wearing a dark baseball cap, dark sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a light blue hospital mask.

Information Sought - McStay Family from Fallbrook Missing
The video above shows pedestrians walking south toward Mexico at the San Ysidro Port of Entry. At approximately :30 seconds into the video, a man and woman can be seen walking, each holding the hand of a child. The woman is wearing a light colored jacket with dark trim. Information is being sought from the public to determine if this is the McStay family.

On March 5, 2010 at approximately 1:00 pm, a suspect similar in appearance to the composite shown at left knocked on the door of a residence, spoke with the female

The Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help to learn more about a woman who was badly injured in Vista. On February 1, 2010
at approximately 5:50 pm, a 66-year old Hispanic woman was found unresponsive in the parking lot of the 99-cent strip mall at the above address.
She had numerous injuries, including head trauma. It was unclear if she had been the victim of a hit-and-run or a severe beating.

Armed Robbery

The Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help to locate the suspects who committed this armed robbery. Suspect 1
entered the store, selected some pastries, and approached the register as if to pay. He demanded money from the clerk and displayed a black semi-automatic handgun.
The second suspect entered the store, took the money, and the pair fled on foot.

Stolen Property
Ramona Community School parking lot 1710 Montecito Rd., Ramona, CA
The Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help to locate a trailer stolen from the above location. It contained
approximately $10,000 worth of construction tools. The trailer has Pennsylvania license XCV9388.
The trailer looked similar to the one pictured at left, but was grey in color.

Information Wanted
Hit and Run with injuries East Vista Way at Arcadia Avenue, Vista
The Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a hit-and-run driver who injured a teenage boy in a crash Dec. 28, 2009.
The 15-year-old skateboarder was using the crosswalk on East Vista Way at Arcadia Avenue about 9:30 p.m. when he was struck by a vehicle that
ran a red light. The impact of the crash lifted the teen onto the roof of the vehicle. He then rolled off and landed on the
ground before being run over. The driver continued south on East Vista Way, never stopping to help.
The teen suffered head trauma, a ruptured spleen, a hematoma to a kidney and other injuries. The vehicle was described as a black or dark-colored
sport utility vehicle or pickup that may have damage to the hood, front bumper and windshield. Broken pieces of white plastic at the scene may
have been from a headlight or bug deflector.

On December 23, 2009 at approximately 1:22am, a suspect drove up to the Taco Bell
on East Vista Way in Vista, and stole two security cameras from the exterior of the building.

Investigators from the Vista Sheriff’s Station are attempting to locate Pedro Cristobal Uribe, also known as Peter. He is 5-10, 130 pounds, born 10-26-1989.

Kelley Edward Edley, born 2-23-1969, is currently in custody charged in multiple sexual assault cases. His cases involved being either a co-worker
with his victims or in a position of authority over them. Investigators are interested in identifying any previously unreported victims or any other
information about Kelley Edley.

On Thursday December 17, 2009 two suspects entered the Mercado Shores Liquor Store in Imperial Beach. The suspects tied up the clerk and assaulted him with a stun gun.

On Monday November 23, 2009 an attempted traffic stop resulted in a pursuit in which shots were fired at the pursuing deputy. Jacob Woolsey was later arrested for attempted murder in that case.
It is believed there are witnesses to the pursuit, and Sheriff’s investigators would like to interview those witnesses. Anyone with information is asked to

The public’s help is being sought to identify the
suspect who exposed himself and masturbated in front of three girls aged 12-14.
The suspect is described as a white male, 30-45 years of age,
driving a 2-door Toyota or Nissan pickup truck, grey or faded black in color. For more
