An interested
candidate must have completed a minimum of two years toward
a bachelor's degree in criminal justice administration or
related field or have been awarded a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor
of Science degree. Interns will gain a broad exposure to the
work of the criminal justice system through the work of a
forensic laboratory. Typical tasks include verifying the status
of pending cases in order for criminalists to prioritize their
scientific analyses of evidence and providing assistance in
the preparation of criminal discovery. The minimum commitment
is one semester (or two months during the summer) and a total
of 160 hours. The position is non-paid.
We are
always accepting applications. When new projects become available
we will then recruit from our current list of applicants.
