Services - Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force

Mission: As a Law Enforcement task force investigating crimes against children, our primary goal is the protection of the child. Our secondary goals deal with the investigation and prosecution the offenders.

We provide local law enforcement officers and prosecutors with training in child exploitation and high-tech crime.We facilitate regional coordination, information sharing, and networking between local, state and federal law enforcement agencies, dealing with child exploitation.

We distribute informational materials needed to ensure that children, parents, other individuals and organizations are well acquainted with child exploitation issues, problems and availability of assistance.

Finally, in conjunction with the San Diego District Attorney's Office, we are developing and preparing to distribute, a child safety curriculum for parents, teachers and other community groups that focuses on child safety, with an emphasis on Internet.
