San Diego
County Sheriff's Dispatchers work in an
exciting environment, answering 9-1-1
emergency and non-emergency calls from the
public for law enforcement and public safety
services. We dispatch various patrol,
detective, and specialized units to those
calls.
The
Sheriff's Communications Center is located
in the Kearny Mesa area of San Diego and is
staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We
work in a state of the art facility with
fully adjustable ergonomic workstations,
utilizing some of the most advanced
radio
and computersystems in public safety.
If you applied
for the
entry level
position of
Radio
Trainee
anytime
before April
2008 and
were
unsuccessful
with the
test, you
are now
eligible to
reapply.

parking lot.

municipal law enforcement or fire public safety agency, you
may qualify for our lateral position
of Emergency Services Dispatcher.
