Assigned to the Santee Sheriff’s Station, under the umbrella
of the Community Operations Division, is the Juvenile Intervention
and Investigations Unit. Two juvenile detectives are responsible
for case management on all runaway/missing juveniles, determining
the appropriate response and disposition for juveniles taken into
custody, and working with various community organizations involved
in the juvenile justice system. The unit is a resource for families
seeking guidance and information on juvenile related issues. |
