To
obtain a copy of a crime report or traffic collision report, you need
to come in to the Santee Sheriff Station front office between 8:00 am
and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday and fill out an Application For Release
of Information.
Once this form is
filled out completely it is processed. This process takes approximately
2-10 working days before the reports are released.
There is a fee of
twenty dollars ($20.00) for a copy of each report. Persons listed as
a suspect in a crime report may purchase only the first page of the
crime report for a fee of twenty dollars ($20.00). All victim information
will be removed.
