The Santee Sheriff's Station proudly serves the City of Santee and the unincorporated communities of Lakeside and El Cajon.

The City of Santee is located in eastern San Diego County. The City of Santee is 16.5 square miles in size and boasts a population of 52,975. The city is made up of primarily residential property with some light industry and retail outlets.

The unincorporated community of Lakeside is located just east of the City of Santee. Lakeside is 99 square miles in size and boasts a population of 56,225. Lakeside is semi-rural community made up of residential property, livestock property and light industry. Lakeside is home to the Lakeside Rodeo Grounds, one of the only PRCA rodeo grounds in San Diego County.
