To begin the process you must first apply either on-line at http://agency.governmentjobs.com/sdcounty/default.cfm
or apply in person at the Human Resources office located in the County Administration Center on 1600 Pacific Highway. Once your application is reviewed and you are eligible a notice will be mailed to inform you of the scheduled testing date.
