As Detentions Information Assistants we pride ourselves in providing quality customer service to the public, professional visitors and law enforcement officials. We are often the first point of contact family members have with the Sheriff's Department.
Aside from the general duties of a Detentions Information Assistant, you will be faced with complex challenges. Daily you will encounter individuals who don't understand why their loved one is in custody. We patiently help these individuals by providing information and reassurance that their loved one is receiving quality care.
We diligently work with sworn and professional staff in order to make every resource available to the public. We receive specialized training in the technical aspects of the position, and with time and experience gain the skills to handle difficult emotional situations. If you are an individual who is motivated and passionate about helping others, this is the job for you. If you are seeking an opportunity to work in a professional environment and are ready to move ahead in a great career, we welcome you to take the challenge and join our team!
