Visit Reservations
Visits will resume at San Diego County Jails the week of July 27, 2009.
In order to minimize the risk of introducing infection into our system, the following precautionary
measure should be followed:
If you have had an influenza-like illness (ILI) in the 7 days prior to your visit which includes fever,
cough and/or sore throat, you should not enter the facility.
Effective December 22, 2008, the Sheriff’s toll-free
inmate reservation WEVISIT, (1-877-938-4748) line will no
longer be available. Please select the telephone number
within your area code to schedule a visit.

All inmate reservations will be scheduled by calling Tuesday through
Saturday from 6:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. with the exception
of the Las Colinas Detention Facility.
Reservations for that facility will be scheduled
seven days per week from 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
Visiting at EMDF
▪ Visits are subject to
cancellation/change without notice at any time due to weather, rule
violation or jail security.
▪ Walk-in visits are not allowed; please reserve your visit in advance.
